The Writing Center will continue to be available to students.
Beginning Friday, March 13, all in-person appointments are suspended in keeping with SAU’s coronavirus mitigation efforts. Students may still receive assistance with their essays in one of two ways. You may email your essay to firstname.lastname@example.org, and a tutor will respond within one business day with comments to guide your revision. You may also make an appointment, and a tutor will set up a Zoom consultation to discuss your essay with you through video chat.
The majority of our library resources are available for access at any time! Maybe you have questions about how to find those items. Some tips:
From our library homepage, click on Find Articles/Databases.

Continue to renew materials online via My Account. Due dates for SAU library materials have been extended through April for students and through July for faculty & staff. Many MeLCat and Interlibrary Loan items retain their original due dates but may be kept without penalty until the end of Spring semester.
Updated 3/26/20 Please keep all library material until the Michigan Stay Home, Stay Safe order has been lifted. No fines or other penalties will be incurred. After quarantine, library items may be returned to the book drop located outside the library's entrance, or the library will be happy to send a prepaid return shipping label to anyone wanting to return books by mail.
