Writing Center

The Writing Center will continue to be available to students.  All students may email their essays to writingcenteratsau@gmail.com. If you want a tutor to arrange a Zoom tutoring session, indicate that in your email and someone will contact you.

Articles, ebooks and other material

We will deliver journal articles, chapters from books, and ebooks via email.

Print books  Use this form to request material.

  • SAU Library books.  Our shelves are open to browsing and books can still be checked-out in person.  Online students & faculty: print books can be mailed to your home address. 

  • Books borrowed from other libraries: Requests for books not owned by the SAU Library will be placed on a case-by-case basis based on availability.
Currently in quarantine?  No problem!  Please email the library.  Let us know you are in quarantine and we will be happy to help you get the material you need.

 

MeLCat and Interlibrary Loan

MeLCat Michigan statewide resource sharing.  Borrow books from public and academic libraries throughout the state of Michigan.  Pick-up and return items at the SAU Library!

SAU students, staff and faculty may continue to place requests for material through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) using the library's databases or the ILL Request Form.

Renewing Materials

Continue to renew materials online via Renew My Books.

Returning Materials

Library items may be returned to the book drop located outside the library's entrance, or the library will be happy to send a prepaid return shipping label to anyone wanting to return books by mailIf you are under quarantine, please reach out to us for instructions.
