Policies and Procedures

So, you want to get started using the Cameo? We really don't blame you - we can't wait to see what you create!

First things first - some things to know about using this machine in the Workroom:

We ask that you...

  • Find a Workroom employee and let him/her know you'd like to make a project.
  • Prepare for it to take some time to create the perfect product.
  • Work together with the employee on duty - allow him/her to set up the machine and assist you through the design process.
  • Allow him/her to send your project to the machine for cutting/printing.
  • Want to make a custom project (i.e. not from a stock image in the software)? Please message sau.workroom@gmail.com to set up an appointment. If you have questions ahead of setting an appointment, please call the Workroom at 517-750-6745. If you have policy questions, you may call Elizabeth at 517-750-6443 or email her at ewalker@arbor.edu.

Please do not...

  • Operate the machine without a Workroom employee present.

Thank you for helping us to make this process go as smoothly as possible for all!

Pricing

Since your imagination is the limit on the projects that you can create with the Cameo, your project price will vary depending on material used and finished size.

Materials for Sale:

Want to make a project with a material not listed here? Please talk with a Workroom employee to either make arrangements for a special order or to get permission to use material that you wish to bring in.
