Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that obtains articles, books and other material from libraries throughout Michigan and the U.S, and even from other countries. Looking for a book or article that we don't have? No problem! Place an ILL request for the item and we will obtain it from another library for you, free of charge.
Interlibrary Loan is available for all current SAU students, staff, and faculty.
Where to find and request books:
Where to find and request peer-reviewed, scholarly articles and everything else.
Check on the status of your requests at My Account (anytime) or by contacting the Interlibrary Loan Department: sauill@arbor.edu or 517-750-6439 (M-F, 9am -5pm)
We do our very best to obtain items as quickly as we can. However, there is not a way to fast-track or rush an Interlibrary Loan request.
Don't have time to wait for Interlibrary Loan items to arrive?
The best thing to do is to contact a librarian. Let us know your research topic, any assignment details, and your deadline date and time. Librarians can point you in the direction of research materials that are available immediately.
