General Resource Evaluation: CRAAP Test

It is important for researchers to evaluate every potential research resource in light of the project they're doing. Follow along with this guide to learn more about this process.

The CRAAP Test

The CRAAP Test is used to help you evaluate resources. It is most often used to evaluate websites, but the same criteria can be applied to other types of resources as well.

CRAAP is an ancronym that stands for:

  • Currency
  • Relevancy
  • Authority
  • Accuracy
  • Purpose
