Laptops

Loaner laptops are provided by IT for SAU students, staff, and faculty to use while a personal or work laptop is being repaired.  Stop by the library's Circulation Desk to borrow a laptop from IT.

Laptops are loaned for three weeks and may be renewed for an additional three-week period.  Need the laptop a bit longer?  No problem!  Just stop by the library's Circulation Desk with the laptop and we'll be happy to renew the loaner laptop for you.

Borrower Requirements

  • Only current SAU students or employees may borrow laptops.
  • Laptops must be checked-out in person by the individual using the laptop. Borrowers must present a current SAU ID or driver's license at the time of check out.
  • The borrower is responsible for the cost of replacement if damaged or lost.
  • One three-week renewal is available.  Renew at My Account.  If renewal limit has been reached, bring the laptop to the library.  We'll be happy to extend the laptop loan for you.

Fines & Fees

  • $5.00 overdue fee for laptops returned more than 7 days overdue.
  • Minimum $500.00 replacement charge for lost or damaged laptops.

USB microphone photo USB Microphone Available at the Circulation Desk.  Loaned for 6 weeks to students, faculty & staff.
Wireless mouse Wireless mouse Available at the Circulation Desk.  Items are In Library Use Only for up to 3 hours.

Dual monitor photo Dual Monitors Hook your laptop up to a monitor in the main floor computer lab.
308 Audio equipment Room 308 Audio/visual equipment Study room 308 contains a vinyl record player, cassette player, CD player, and DVD player.
TV DVD VHS combo photo TV/DVD/VHS combo TV/DVD/VHS combo player on a rolling cart may be used in the library or borrowed overnight outside of the library.
